This memorial was dedicated on Saturday, November 11, 2000.  The memorial is dedicated to the memory of  those from Westmoreland County who gave their lives for their country in Vietnam; it also honors those who served and returned home.  The stone came from the same quarry in India as the national memorial. The names of those 97 men who were Killed in Action or are Missing in Action are carved on this stone. The memorial is at beautiful Twin Lakes Park in Luxor, Pennsylvania, located in central Westmoreland County. Our purpose was to bring a little bit of the national memorial home to Westmoreland County for those who can't make it to Washington D.C.

Please visit the KIA page and please notify us of any additions, corrections or information for the biographies you may have regarding Westmoreland County Vietnam veterans Killed In Action.

If you would like to buy a memorial brick, please read the information on the Memorial Donations page to learn more.
